Plan Your Whitsundays Vacation: Top Tips for Bareboating

We are Sharon & Shane McNally. Owners of our beautiful Dehler 34, Treasure VI.

Our business acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters on which the tourism business operates and pays respect to the Elders past and present.

Our Story:

  • Thomas Island Whitsundays

Our tale is one entwined with the sea; Shane and Sharon’s online encounter back in 2009 sparked a romance shaped by our deep affinity for the ocean and love of the Whitsundays.

Our trio of children, Jack, Luke, and Mikhaila, have matured amidst the waters and coastal landscapes around Airlie Beach and The Whitsunday National Parks. We have enjoyed many escapades afloat, sailing, angling and embarking on bareboat (Skipper yourself) journeys through the Whitsunday waterways, whether on our fishing vessel, through to a skipper yourself yacht charter, or later aboard our very own sailing yacht. Our kinfolk revel in exploring and journeying to distant lands. Nurtured within the aqueous expanse of the Great Barrier Reef, wanderlust runs through our veins, seldom at rest unless we’re reeling in a catch and replenishing our provisions.

Shane is typically adorned with a fishing rod, spear gun or Mud crab, an ardent huntsman and gatherer, while Sharon thrives amidst outdoor pursuits: kayaking, hiking, sailing, collecting coconuts, beachcombing the shorelines, trekking, Snorkeling, Yoga on the bow or beach, complemented by the aroma of freshly baked sourdough, A strong black and a tantalizing cocktail to crown the day.

Shane’s background in the Luxury resort management ensures your Whitsunday Sailing adventure is a excellent experience.

Sharon’s experience in the bareboat industry gives piece of mind your holiday afloat will be safe and enjoyable for all the family.
